We need your help:
Veterinary cost have risen sharply. Taylor Jones Humane Society has continued to keep the cost down to the public. As an example a $35 cost to the public for a cat neuter cost us $54 to $72. Help by making a donation. Please click here to donate or learn more. Thanks

Found Pet Policy:
There has been questions on our policy when a cat or dog is found and brought here. Please read our Found pets policy.

There is not enough words or appreciation to Thank all of the people from KTAB, KRBC, CALLAWAYS CARPET, LOWES, MANKIN and SONS for all the donations and the hard work they did for us at Taylor Jones Humane Society. Give a shout out to these wonderful people! KTAB and KRBC crews were here Friday June 16th volunteering. They built us new shelves, power washed the dogs runs, did general cleaning, and put vinyl on the walls in the cat room to protect the wall. Thanks so much for your help and support. There are more pictures and information on our Facebook page.

Thank you to everyone who helped with this event and to those of you who adopted a new family member. Several got a new family. When we at the Taylor Jones Humane Society see one of these animals get a new family to love, it makes all we do worth it.

Our old wooden fence was looking bad after the last high wind storm. Thanks to a recent donation we were able to hire Frontier Fence Co. to install a great looking metal fence.

The crew from Frontier Fence was great. They put up temp fencing so we could continue letting the dogs in and out. They are nice folks who will work with you.

We were blessed with a wonderful Girl Scout troop 7212. Not only did they have fun with all the animals, help Leah in the kennels, theses girls donated $500.00 from their cookie sales to the animals. Let's give them all a big Thank you.

Thank you to the Community Foundation of Abilene for the Grant we received from the Spreading Holiday Cheer giving Guide. And thanks to all donators.
